Established in 5th July 2010, Government College of Physiotherapy, Dahod is considered as one of the premier institutes of Physiotherapy in Gujarat.
It is recognized by the Gujarat State Council For Physiotherapy (GSCPT). The dedicated new building was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi on 1st May 2012.
Institute is spread over the land area of 25 acres. It’s natural surroundings make it optimum for learning and teaching.
The College offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy Program, a 4 and 1/2 year undergraduate course, including compulsory six months of clinical internship, and involving the science of physical movement aimed at preventing disease and disability.
It is affiliated to Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU) Godhra. Apart from the academic programs, the students are also exposed to various sports like badminton, volleyball, cricket, extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, painting , skit/play, miming, crafts & fine arts and social activities like plantation, clean India mission & blood donations.
